Our next performance will be at the Boys and Girls Club in Bentonville in June. Please consider praying for us. This will be for kids ages 6 to 18 that come to the Club for after school and summer programs. We will pretty much be kicking off their summer program.
Also in June, Joshua and Brandon will be headed to Guatemala for an 8 day medical mission trip with their dad and grandfather. Please consider them in your prayers.

Updates as of May 2009
Well, I apologize for not posting as much as I should... VIVIT has been extremely busy with schoolwork and sports (not to mention band practices galore!). Josh and Brandon are officially done with school for the year, while Caleb, Garrison and I (Lauren) are still in school.
VIVIT performed at Providence Academy yesterday afternoon for their last day of school. It went very well! I will post pictures soon. It was a miracle (literally) that the weather was so nice, because the whole week it had been storming/raining/etc. Now it's back to more rain... At least we got a break. :-) Soli Deo Gloria!
Also, VIVIT will be performing at the Bentonville Boys and Girls Club on June 11th at 1:30 PM in front of all the staff and kids. We're really excited, because we also get to socialize with the kids and minister to them afterwards. :-)
God bless you all!

1/16/09
Well, its been a month since we've posted anything on here, so I thought I'd give an update on how the band is doing!
VIVIT played for a cause called the Potter's House at the Fayetteville's Boys and Girls Club on December 12th. It was an incredible experience. We got to meet new people, and people that were very different from ourselves. We were there for the whole thing, and more. We were very sorry that Caleb Taylor wasn't there to enjoy the experience with us. :-( We played twice that night, and we also got an "encore" (although we didn't have anything prepared for an encore, so we just decided to play one of the songs that we already did).
After we performed there, things have really slowed down. It being around Christmastime, we didn't have very many practices. Then, after New Year's, we started picking back up a little bit.
Next week, the band gets to go to a gun range in Springdale. I just hope I don't shoot my eye out! :-D Also happening next week, is that we're going to the Drumline performance at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville. That should be fun! Mrs. Lisa suggested that we bring earplugs. :-)
Well, that's all I can think of to post at this point in time. I just had to share what was all going on since VIVIT's last official performance/leading of worship. :-)
Soli Deo Gloria!
