Everyone has started school.
There are still lessons with Neil Greenhaw on Mondays, but practices have been limited to just Fridays because of the hectic academic and activity schedule... soccer, basketball, track, etc. Lauren is continuing vocal and acoustic lessons. Josh is taking private guitar lessons with Neil and Brandon is taking private bass lessons from the same instructor as Lauren. Josh, Brandon, Lauren and Caleb Taylor are performing worship songs at church during the offertory.
Caleb Lee quit the band because it has turned into more of a praise and worship band and he is interested in doing more than just songs about God. He will be missed and this has not affected their friendship. He repeatedly and sincerely encouraged them to find another drummer, so that is in the works.
It has been exciting to see what the Lord is accomplishing in the lives of everyone in the band. Please keep them in your prayers.
We named our band VIVIT because it is Latin for "He Lives."
It is because of Christ's sacrifice on the cross and the fact that He arose from the dead and lives in our hearts and at the right hand of God, the Father, that we are who we are and long to give HIM all the glory!!!

Sounds fun! Kade and I will be leading music for our NWACHEA group. We meet pretty close to your house. There are over a hundred students and about thirty to fifty adults. It'll be fun hopfully. The Church won't let us use any equipment so we had to get some new stuff. It'll be fun!
